Maria develops master’s courses in Product Development and Advanced Formgiving at KTH, Royal Institute of Technology, and Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts and Design.

She has previously also developed various educational programs and teaches at all five major universities in Stockholm for the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (SSES), focusing on the integration of entrepreneurship, design, and sustainability.

  • ▪ Contribution to the new Master’s program Design Ecologies at Konstfack, launched in 2023.
    ▪ Course modules stretching over second semester, focusing on collaborations with companies and organizations to create design proposals that address both the students’ goals as aspiring designers and the collaborative partners’ needs to meet increasing sustainability targets.
    ▪ Co-creation for a Regenerative Future, a weekend workshop for SSES.
    ▪ Biomimicry Bootcamp in Tuscany, a week-long in-depth course navigating sustainability and regenerative food systems in the context of entrepreneurship, in collaboration with Professor Anna Maria Orru. The bootcamp became annual, directed by Anna Maria Orru at her land in Italy.
    ▪ In the anthology published by SSES, Maria contributed a chapter that explores how design can elevate the practice of entrepreneurship. [Read Designing impact driven artepreneurship here!]
    ▪ Creation of the annual event "Beyond Konstfack” at Konstfack focusing on artepreneurship, the intersection of entrepreneurship, design, and art.
