The Restaurant Labs

In 2018, Maria von Euler put together a group of experts from different industries to found an independent innovation area for the food industry. The project aimed to bridging the gap between theory & practice, research & the business world to see ”How environmentally friendly, sustainable & circular can restaurants become?”. In September 2019 the founders opened a restaurant to prove, in real life, that’s it’s possible to achieve the Agenda 2030 goals with gained profitability and amazing food experience. The entity became a living lab and a platform for knowledge transmission on how circular design thinking can solve social, ecological and economic challenges using the food system as a demonstrator.

Call for Action - a circular economic solution


    ▪ During Covid 35 000 meals were delivered to people in need from The Restaurant Lab. More than 400 000 meals were delivered from the initiative.
